That may be but I would highly recommend given the woodlands Tx store a call they for sure have them on sale for 250.00 I just bought them today. I'm really enjoying this headphone and it is more than worth 250.00 and a phone call. I really wanted fellow headfi members in on this awesome deal I'm a lurker here but I wanted to pass on this good deal to you guys.

Do you or anyone else have the specific SKU for this item? It should be on your receipt. I tried calling my local Magnolia store and they couldn't find it. I found an old product page online for the W1000X but they couldn't find items with that SKU in their system. The only one that shows up on a normal search seems to be the W1000Z which is the newer version.

Thanks!

EDIT: Nevermind, I called direct to the source of that Magnolia Design Center store in Texas. They found the headphones but they said they can't ship to normal best buy stores, only to other Magnolia Design Center stores.... Unfortunately there's only about 15 of those in the country and none anywhere near me. Best of luck all

Frys has the Audio-Technica AT-LP120-USB turntable both in store and on line for $199 with email individual promo code:

Hey KG Jag,

Thanks for the heads up about the Audio-Technica turntable at Fry's. Could you let me know what the promo code is? Or how to go about getting my own if your promo code is individualized for you only.

Also, how well do USB turntables digitize vinyl? Is there any way to attenuate vinyl surface noise?

Thanks!

Edit:
Nevermind, I figured out how to get the promo code, and I'll google "digitizing vinyl".

I want to see pics of the box these articulating ladders come in with. I know they fold and slide but it still must be a big box; your delivery guy must be wondering what you're ordering.

The box is about the size of a 37" TV but a bit thicker. It's nothing special. Plus there were handles that could act as windows on the large sides, so if the delivery person was curious they could simply take a peek inside. That and it said what it was on the box as well. :p

If you know anyone in the Phoenix area there is a store in Scottsdale (according to this page at least http://www.magnoliaav.com/all-locations ).  I moved out of Phoenix just over a year ago or I would be all about it.

I just use a handheld Edirol recorder. The turntable is plugged into my integrated amp, then I go tape out with a blu jeans rca cable to 3.5mm to the line in of the recorder. I just record them to WAV files. If you have a good lp cleaning system, a quality cartridge, and a healthy stylus. All set up meticulously, you wouldn't have many issues with surface noise. I never had to edit anything. I realize the Edirol part of the chain can be improved, but based on all the other elements being of good quality, the results are really excellent and provide a better listening experience for me than lossless files. Sometimes, I play the rip of the lp through my home system, while the lp sits on the shelf.

Anyway. Has anyone seen a deal on the pny 256gb sd card?
