I installed that mr walkman thing a while ago. could that be causing this? Powering it off is impossible because it automatically boots back up and starts creating database again.
How many songs did you have before emtying it? When you habe more than 40000 songs it can take more than 25 monutes

It has nothing to do with that.

If, for example, I remove my 512 GB card that's full of songs, it will take a while to go through the database rebuilding.

The question is what did you do to trigger database rebuilding?

The NW-WM1A feels as light as a feather compared to NW-WM1Z.

This NW-WM1A is sounding great with my Shure SRH1540 headphones, balanced.

I want to recreate my favorite equalizer on Sony music center that I usually used on my iPhone when my Walkman is being charged or just change peace because I really like the lightning wired earpods when use this equlaizer, how to setting equlaizer on wm1z?

I know the result will not the same because the music center and wm1z equlaizer setting are different especially in bass region

For you all that first got the 1.5 TB SanDisk microSD card, it is extreme pro or it is ultra? Because I remember it was a black color that me and it is extreme pro. I'm going searching by Amazon and on Google. I don't find it anymore. I only get results for an ultra which is in gray color and browsing the western digital website, the extreme plus only capacities up to one terabyte.

The 1.5TB is only available as an Ultra.

The only difference between Ultra and Extreme is write speed which is only an issue when first copying music on to it.

how do they compare , soundwise ?
1Z has thick, layered, analog notes, whereas 1A is a faster, more neutral presentation.

The 1Z has a deeper better defined low end, and a smoother wider soundstage.
Sometimes the 1A sounds a little wider to me due to the thinner notes.
