Sweet! I always seem to say that about Sony DAPs.Uh, Dan? I think I found your WM1Z... lol.
So I finally got a WM1Z and at more than half of the retail price! This was sold on eBay by someone who supposedly bought it from the original owner... Could this WM1Z be owned by the famous MrSpeakers?
Congratulations! This and the 1A are such great devices!Uh, Dan? I think I found your WM1Z... lol.

@Quadfather got the 2 best devices from me. LolCongratulations! This and the 1A are such great devices!
True that! NW-WM1Z with Shure SRH1840 balanced is sounding SOOOOO GOOD. NW-WM1A and LPGT are sweet with SRH1540.@Quadfather got the 2 best devices from me. Lol
I love the gold Sony's deep, rich notes, but there are days I actually reach for the black Sony, depending on the headphones. It's a difficult question to answer. I honestly think Sony was just going for two different sound signatures, and the materials needed for the warmer sounding device ended up costing a lot more. The black Sony is faster, more neutral, but more spacious. The gold Sony has thick, beautiful, liquid notes that are absolutely gorgeous.Does anyone know if wm1z is a significant improvement over 1A? ( all first Gen).
Thanks
Just for devices with balanced in, wont work for single ended (rca) devicesAnyone use 4.4mm line out
