I’ve never used the single ended output (after modding I don’t even have it). On the balanced output as I recall it from 4 1/2 years ago there were noticeable but not drastic changes

it's unbranded , from amazon or china online shop, i'm interested because it shows that it can fir the WM1 and Z1r
as you know Z1R cable is a little weird to fit in a normal earphone case.

I have already put the Midnight Firmware on my A1. I am now attempting to change the region to J and I am having some issues. Can I not change it to J after having already changed the firmware? I believe this might be it as I don't see the Z1 as a device on the supported list and my Model is listed NW-WM1Z in unit info? Please help if you don't mind!

You can change region with the rockbox nwdest tool at any time and with any firmware

This is the commands to use (ignore the pause lines).

The first line shows your current region and the second changes the region.

Change k: to whatever drive letter the internal storage has been assigned on your pc and change E to J for the Japan region
