I cant relate to anyone's saying B3 is anemic. The subbass is super duper pronounced. I can see that the bass is super thin when I directly connect it via my Poco phone, but the bass is so pronounced on my other amps including ifi xcan
I 100% believe you. Just what my ears heard with all the source gear and stuff I tested it with.

My review is up for the B3. I’m hoping the Dusk will improve on what I find wrong with the B3.

I can't help but find it strange that you feel like Variations is better in the bass since it's distinct lack of mid bass is a very common and major complaint for many, and going by the graph it seems to have even less midbass than B3. There's more than plenty of sub bass to cover for it, of course, but unfortunately it doesn't work out like that for me personally.
I was hoping that I'll be able to get something more tonally balanced with little sacrifices in terms of technicalities (and cheaper while at that) with B3, but alas. It was so close, though, it seems. If only upper mids/lower treble were smoother!

Hard to say. I don’t have a measuring rig so I can’t test to see if maybe my unit is possibly defective. I don’t think the B3 is bad. It’s not working well for my ears.

Some reviewers just went too far and don't know what's their responsibilities. They are getting free units to "review", not to judge according to its taste.

These low ratings comes from people who dislike the tuning because they don't like it. That's all.

I myself, even has sold the unit, my take on this is not NEGATIVE. Moondrop actually achieved the goal. It fixes most of B2's weaknesses and comes with the same pricing.

The only gripe is the limitations of the headstage which also B2 and the rest suffer from it.

Again, i dont think i can take these biased reviewers at all. Just ignore the reviewers who has heavily towards his own taste and preference.

Normally I don't care much, but there were reviews on headphonestly where I shared similar views. I was surprised when it rated blessing so low that even blessing 2 was still high on the crinacle charts, which seemed ridiculous to me.

And even worst, these type reviewers took it as "professional" because they have high "standard". Smh.

Nevertheless, if you are in $300 iem market or even within $500, take a look on Final's A5000. I think it deserves more attention.

Kind of disappointing to see the B3 fall short of the hype. With how crazy the market is right now you'd think they would put out a more unique product now rather than waiting for the "dusk" version (if that's even coming out)

I don't know why so much drama on the reviews of the Blessing 3. Yes, it has a little less bass and a little more air than the Dusk. Other than that they are VERY similar.
If you like the Blessing 2, the B3 makes sense. If you prefer the Dusk, to the B2, then the B3 is probably not the right answer. Moondrop did a disservice to their existing customer base, by not being upfront about there being two intended Blessing 3 releases. The second (and yet to be released) being a B3 Dusk.
