Check the T1 thread, there's a V2 out now.

Yeah. Saw that. But still, this is the lowest price I've seen for this yet. It was 650$ when we were discussing about it. I reckon it might still drop now that the V2 is here. Have you or anyone you know tried it?

Hi everyone, after months and months of searching for a headphone that would give me the same sound quality the DT 770 spoiled me into, I decided to jump and buy DT 1350, the reseller was nice enough to offer return agreement if I don't like them. I just received them this morning, it took me 5 sec to decide to keep them :D

I also I think I have a twin working in beyerdynamics designing headphones, it just fits right out of box, no need for me to search for sweet spot or do any adjustments.

I guess I still need to burn them and use them for a longer period, but seriously, nothing I tried so far - and by that I mean on ear headphones - came close to the sound quality and satisfaction I got with these so far.

I'm using them to listen to FLAC on iPod classic 5G, Spotify on Samsung Note 3 and Macbook Air without amp, and they sound great, still need to try them with my Fiio E17K later.

I would like to thank everybody in the forum, the reviews and the feedback you give help a lot, I got what expected based on your reviews, and it's amazing and very satisfying.

No, that is an incredibly stupid idea. There are plenty of fake goods on eBay. If the price is crazy low, then it is most certainly fake.

The eBay guarantee covers fake goods as well as mislabeled items.

So please tell me what's stupid at taking a chance it is not fake when eBay will cover the $60 you've spent if it is? If it was not covered, then I would not advise to purchase it.

I received my DT1350's early this week...purchased from latest Massdrop offering.  I have to say that I am just a bit disappointed in the sound.  Out of the box I thought they were very dark.  The mids are excessively recessed and the treble is largely missing.  I have run a 100+ hour burn in and was hoping that the the sound would clear up...so far I have not found this to be the case.  I would describe the sound as muddy, or murky.  The bass is clearly present, and not bad.  I was expecting a pronounced bass, but not the near lack of mids and treble.  I have tried multiple sources including iPod Classic/JDS C5, Fiio E7 with my laptop, and home system...the DT1350's sound the same in each case.

Any suggestions?

Tear the felt cover off? I don't see an easy way to make it reversible though so..

Just received my DT1350 and the first thing I notice is it sounds more like DT880/T1 than DT990 in terms of sound signature. More flat than V shape. Will let it burn in and give a more detail comparison.

My friend, if ever, you'd have to prove to eBay that what you got is a fake. And that is a headache.

You are most welcome.

If the Beyer logo on the earcups are white is that the 1st or 2nd gen?

I think not the best way to tell.
I have ser num 19xxx with the original pads and headband and a serial num 22xxx with thick n soft pads and new headband. They both have a white beyer logo on what seems like a metal mesh.

Someone here said that metal mesh is actually just a cover and can be removed to reveal the engraved logo, regardless of gen.
