I would be curious as to where you found the following info "described as "Typ Nr III 48S", and their serial number starts with 68." I do have a serial
number inscribed on my DT-48A's which I bought as a teenager (I am now 75 years old, so that was a while ago.) But none of my other variations
of DT-48's have any type number or serial number on the actual phones.I have about 5 pairs of various versions of DT-48's and none of the others
(with the exception of the DT-48A's of course) have any type or serial numbers markings. And I see by your pictures that your set of DT-48S's don't
have any of this info marked on the phones themselves. So where did you get this information? Was it on the literature that came with the phones?
I am dying to know where this information came from!
