The Basshead Club

U still need to try the signature dj :3

Not going to happen unless I have someone loan me theirs.  I had the Sig Pro and since they are the same chassis I can say this - the comfort of the Sig Pro was worse than the V-Moda M100 to me...............and I was ready to rip them off my head after 30 minutes or so.  The Edition 8 is so much better comfort-wise but wish it has the bass of the Pro900.  So...........all that said, I'm sure the Sig DJ is a basshead dream but for that price it should be as comfy as my Denon D7000, which IS a basshead dream can to me.  Comfort is paramount to me.

That and i would buy spikes for headphones if they sounded good. I get the sit back and not have to worry about comfort thing, but its not too hard for me to get used to some rocks for earpads lol

I've tried a lot of different headphones now in a range of about 40 or so and The Denon sound to me is the best overall plus has the best bass. No I haven't tried the signature DJs but all your big name bass monsters I have tried including the TH600.

It might not matter at first, but after hours of listening, comfort is a huge deal for me. I guess I'm spoiled by the comfort of the D5000 w/FA003/HM5 pads.

That, or the DT770. Both so comfortable.

I value comfort as well and the Sig Djs are not that bad.. The Sig Pros somehow were more uncomfortable to me... I sold mine to Oregonian!

I got the Sig pro first. The earpads are a lot less comfy than the Sig Dj pads. So as the Sig Pro came out about a year before the Sig Dj, they probably changed the pads comfort wise. Especially the seam on the inside of the Pro pads is annoying. But as I have both cans, I can switch. Today at work is Sig Pro time......

Mshenay you really should try (at least) the D5000. I think they would be right up your alley.

Maybe even the Fostex TH600? (Which I personally haven't heard)

Yea im seriously thinking about grabbing one, although I do not want a SUPER bassy can. Something like the DT 990 but with better mids and closed back
