This is going to sound controversial but I thought my W3000ANV made my D7000 sound like a low-end headphone.

N.B.: I don't care that much for sub-bass and need mid presence.

I've never been a fan of the D7000 because of how distracting the bass and sub bass was on those phones.  Would love to try the TH900's and see how they sound though.

Yea as much as I like the D7000 the bass is a little drawback. Almost feels like it makes things sound even little "muddy", it's just sometimes all over the place. However there's something I much like about D7000's presentation, it just sounds really nice to me ear

. I used to EQ down Denon's bass but recently I've kept it as it is.

I've purchased L3000 pads (installed on my W1000X) from audiocubes2.com before and they were easy to deal with.  They sell the W3000ANV replacement pads for the same price of $99.99 before shipping.

I wouldn't think it would be too difficult to repair.

I agree, as long as the cable's outer nylon sheath is still in decent condition, depending on how the cable was damaged.

Close, right now i am bitting my fingernails hoping the esw11 doesn't sell out.  After hearing it at the meet i want to use it with the AK120 for my next portable set up but can't quite swing it yet.  That Limited thing can make anxious........problems of abundance.

The ESW11 is certainly tempting, but I still hold out hope a ESW10JPN in good condition falls into my lap for a decent price :p

Will sell out *eventually* in Japan. The ridiculous pricing on Audio-Technica EU store will ensure plenty of stocks here ha
