I'm pretty sure I can wear this one out as they just keep popping into my head! This one was back during my Air Force days, actually this released right after I got out but I was still in when I got my first taste of Martha:wink:

I'm surprised "Summer of '69" and "Boys of Summer" have not been posted yet. Here's one that's recent in my memory because I burned their stuff for a friend just this week!

Apple throws its hat into another ring.

Apple Music announces Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos; will bring Lossless Audio to entire catalog

The next generation of sound on Apple Music is coming to subscribers June 2021 at no additional cost

Starting next month, Apple Music users will get access to Hi-Resolution Lossless with sampling rates up to 24-bit/192kHz. Bring it on, right? Well, not so fast. Apple products can’t play it natively.

Do you ever wonder what it could have been like, had high resolution, infinite multi-tracking, digital realm, been available in the time of the Great Classical Composers?
Had they this option, they could have conducted and been recorded in High Def High Resolution, .... and we would have heard their music exactly as they intended it to sound, to be played.
Mozart, Bach, Brahms, ..........so many.

And moving right along, , imagine what MIles Davis or and your Jazz Favorites could have done with the recording Tech we have now..... had they access to it in the '1930s - Mid '70's.

How about the Beatles, or Jimi Hendrix.....

I think of a Band like Queen, recording A Night At the Opera on 16-Tracks @2Inch Tape.
You hear their music, and its so layered, so precise, and this is all analog tape, no Pro Tools. and not even 24 Tracks, until about 1979.
Amazing how their music sounds, and its just 8 Tracks for the first 2 Albums, and 16 Tracks, for the next 3.

These type artists were so advanced, so talented, and did so much the "hard way"..... Having to sing in tune. Having to write their own songs, and play all the instruments.
What they could have produced far and beyond what they did produce, had they the tech available that makes it all so easy today.... is mind boggling to consider.

Here is Queen, on 8 Analog Tracks.. 2nd Album.

Since I have my 2 pair of modded M1060C's where I want them sonically, it's time to change the look of the ear cups. I always thought the beauty of the Zebrawood was wasted by Monoprice staining them so dark. I removed the cups from both sets and sanded them down. The last pic below shows one cup sanded to 600 grit and cleaned off. I think they're going to come out looking amazing after I clear coat them and put them back on the headphones.

Oh how I remember 1962, sitting on that stool with my nose in the corner (I'm sure for another minor infraction ) listening to this:beerchug: With that said a little discipline is always good for a young rebel:smirk:
