I really like the LCD screen. Have you listened to the ES100 and the Auris amplify? How does it compare?

No I haven't listened to either, and I'm a total novice really when it comes to bluetooth lol, every time I have ventured in i always found it severely lacking compared to wired ....but honestly if you A/B this wired and ldac then its close, its still better wired, a tad more control across frequencys , maybe a tad more resolution and depth but I'm reluctant to say that as its easily the best implementation of bluetooth I have heard period! and I will definitely be keeping it and probably using the bluetooth lol...it also sounds amazing anyway for the £80 I paid for it .

I have heard the es100 is pretty good though.

The thing I like about the es100 is it has an app that you put on your smartphone. The app gives you total control over the es100 and it has really good EQ built in.

On the other hand the es100 has some flaws. 1) it doesn't reset the output power to the amp so if you change IEMs you can blow your eardrums if you were listening to a less sensitive IEM previously. 2) The hardware buttons a terrible, I mean really terrible. 3) pairing is a pain in the azz after it has been paired with other sources. You are supposed to be able to pair 3 sources.

That's a bold statement. I think the big difference is the BTR5 has dual dacs while the M0 and R3 have single dacs.
Indeed probably a big part of it, but I also think fiio are also pushing the price to performance ratio compared to others, the m11 is a good example and all though it is a clinical dap it still is a fantastic capable dap for the price. Also as you pointed out the m15 does on paper look way above its price point too .
I think they have just done an amazing job on it technically, implementation, build and the sound, its punching above in my opinion, very clean and clear, no hiss at all as far as I can hear.
As I said early days but I think this could be my buy of the year already as it seems that good and impressive for the money. .. ... @SteveOliver has one too and I know from brief message hes pretty impressed too.

Dont quote me jerrick as I really am not sure but I think possibly I read the fiio app does similar but as I said I'm not certain of this.
