Hi all, can someone recommend a cable (that will not break the bank) to connect the AK to a balanced headphone amplifier (XLR)?
Thanks

You'll want to look for a Sony dap Grounding adapter that has a 2.5mm plug.
For example:

Cooyin AGC25 Player Grounding Wire Suitable For Sony WM1AM2/1ZM2 2.5-3.5mm Ground Wire 2.5mm Ground Shield Adapter

On a side note, this could probably be used on a Qudelix 5k Bluetooth transceiver as well.

Thanks how would I then run that to an amp requiring two XLR inputs?

Then you would need a 4.4mm to dual male-xlr (3pin) adapter next.

If you skip the first part to Ground the 2.5mmBAL plug, then it will likely fry your AK240.

Not all devices can handle such an adapter. It becomes a very nuanced confusing answer at that point.

To keep it simple, no it won't work.

Good news though, any person can be commissioned to make such an adapter for you. Like if you can chat with a seller on Aliexpress to make one for you.

Showing them the picture of the Cooyin adapter, and then ask them to end it with dual male-xlr (3pins) other side.
