K712 has a tad better detail, much more natural soundstaqe and better defined bass, HD600 has superb tonality..K712 is more comfortable, although the HD600 is decent in this regard, esoecially when metal headband is bend to relief clamp force.

These or HD 600s for everyday 10h of wear?

Sounds like the question I've been mulling over for seven months or so. I keep going back to my AKG K712's, but the Sennheiser HD 600's always sit properly when placed on my head - occasionally my K712's headband will dig into my scalp slightly if it isn't set on just right, but I also have a weird shape to the top of my skull that acts up with some headphones but is great for a mohawk! I like how my K712's have more bass but prefer the airier feeling the HD 600's have. K712's are nicer to me for aggrotech, DnB and Harsh EBM, but the HD 600's are the ones I prefer for most rock and metal.

For gaming I've only really played WoW with the two, but the I only notice the Sennheiser after I go to take them off - the K712's I tend to notice after a few hours of gaming if I get the headband right. Moving one's head (or should I say rolling it) from side to side, my HD 600's pretty much stay where they are whereas my K712's can occasionally move slightly.

How do you find the comfort of the k712s? also vs HD600?

HD600 clamps harder but has a more padded headband.
Both are comfortable in the big scheme of things.
