mmm.....128 internal sucks. But the lower-than-ak240 price is a plus point. Very interested in this new AK. The 380 is a bit off my budget for new DAPs. Love to hear how this will compare with other DAPs, specially against the Lotoo Paw Gold.

if it costs $700, it would make sense
Listened to AK380 and the new 320 side by side this morning - same music, same IEM (JH Angie), same volume setting - and I can't really tell them apart sonically.
I am out now, so pics will come tonight.

Is your AK380 on 1.18 (and I assume AK320 is still on 0.61)? If so I can see what you mean, in fact AK320 might even sound slightly better.

Didn't check, but there is good chance they are all on the latest firmware.

This makes a lot of sense... They should sound pretty similar when not playing DSD, but it's good to get confirmation from actual users
The AK320 sounds like a best seller for people who can afford AK stuff. I'm certainly planning on getting one ASAP
There are no microSD cards shipping anywhere that have more than 200 GB capacity.
There are plenty that CLAIM more capacity, but none of them are real - they're just MUCH smaller cards with an edited partition table. You write more than a few GB to them and they'll overwrite earlier data and corrupt themselves.
The 512 GB card that Microdia announced has yet to see the light of day.
Hell, there aren't even full-size SD cards at more than 512 GB.
Mm.......wait, what? Do you mean that AK players now support greater than 128 GB cards?

I use a 200 GB Sandisk in a AK380. No problem.

Looks like AK now prefers the Jr. style volume wheel.
Still another overpriced unit. Why is the 380 worth double the 320's price when both have identical dual dac chips?
Headphone jack at 2 ohms?
Lol AK.

I meant to say HOW is the 380 worth double? Fact is: its not, but AK believes some people will pay double for improved software.
I have an AK Jr. so I know they can build a good/great DAP for a reasonable price (I think they already have with the Jr.) but it makes no sense going higher and higher in the other direction at the same time when we know better.

Like you said the Jr is a good product that does exactly that
For people who have more money the AK380 is there for them
I think the AK320 is the new sweet spot for me

sad that forums are being overran by repeated rants after rants about value, worth etc by the same few.
brands did not hold anyone hostage, willing buyer, willing seller.
should have a dedicated thread just for rants.
