Whilst not over enamoured with the sound signature (afraid i like big bloomy mids too much), for the money i found the build quality to be excellent. certainly better than my audiotechnicas m40, which creaks and groans with any movement.

How are Pro 82 in terms of build quality? I wanted to buy the MH752 from CoolerMaster since it has a mic too and it's based on pro 82, but I read many negative stuff about the right side stop working so no sound from 1 side, crosstalk with the mic etc.

It's ok if it doesnt have a mic, I do have a boompro (no idea if I can connect it to Pro 82 tho). So I wanted to ask if they also break easily or they dont have those problems that the version of CM has.
Build quality of Pro 82 is great. If you want a microphone and don't mind an extra bass boost, GM200 is a great option: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33012705103.html
See the frequency response graphs in my previous post.

That GM200 sounds really interesting, I came to this topic just for pro 82 but now GM200 caught my attention. For sound mixing (FL studio, Ableton) that I need precision with accurate sound, which one would you suggest me to get out of those 2? I mean, if both sound the same or very similar, I obviously will go for GM200 for that "extra" microphone it has. Also, which has the better sound isolation and the least sound leak (to outside, so people that are near you won't be able to hear what you listening).

That link for aliexpress that you posted, is there a possibility I can get a "fake" one? (I read on this topic some people bought some GM200 and they came as fake). Is there a chance I may get a fake product from this link if I decide to go for GM200? It's just that since it takes so long for products on aliexpress to arrive here, I don't wanna wait for so long and receive a fake one haha.

Pro 82 is more transparent, its sound quality is very close to that of the 3800$ Stax 009 (I own both, and listen to Pro 82 99% of the time)

Or you could buy a good USB microphone that will exceed the quality of ANY headphone's microphone... (see the first post for links)
Or you could buy both Pro 82 and GM200 and use them for different purposes.

Also, which has the better sound isolation and the least sound leak (to outside, so people that are near you won't be able to hear what you listening).
They both have the same excellent sound isolation

TakstarAudio is the only store were you are guaranteed to get a genuine Pro 82 v2 or GM200.
Don't forget to use the 4$ coupon in the first post!

Welcome to the club! Would love to read your impressions!

Since it's the Chinese New Year now, and everything in China is closed, the order may not ship until after the holidays (~Feb 21).
At least you have guaranteed yourself a genuine GM200 - only 5 more left in stock.

I made an equalizer for the Takstar pro 82 based on the measurements on the measuring stand. Correcting the Amplitude-frequency response.
Equalizer based on VST Fabfilter Pro-Q 3.
It can be placed in the Equalizer APO

Could you please do one for GM200 as well? And if you could provide a 10band eq settings for mobile, etc. that would be great. Thanks.

No, I can't. First of all, I only use the Takstar pro 82. Secondly, the measurements of the headphones cost me $100.https://www.dsoniq.com/
Since they were corrected for sound engineers.
Well, the headphones are only used in stationary mode, so I can not advise.

While I do consider EQ'ing Pro 82 a blasphemy, I wanted to give it a try. I installed the Equalizer APO and the Peace UI, but couldn't find how to import the ffp file.
Frankly, I would prefer it in Foobar2000's Graphic Equalizer:

Try it first, and then tell me. Whether this is a God-pleasing matter or not.
In order to apply the preset, you need to do so in the below.

1)Install EQ APO and reloading your PC
2)Install Fabfilter Pro Q3

Thank you for the instructions!
I tried this preset from Dsoniq, and didn't like it. Why lower the mids so much (or at all)?

Pro 82's mids are very flat, why make them recessed?

I did like the "Low Boost" FabFilter preset though - it can make many bassheads happy:

I played around with Dsoniq's Pro 82 preset, and came up with something I liked much more:

Only tried it with EDM so far (Taeyon's 'S Concert) though, may not fit other styles.
Don't know if I prefer it over the original Pro 82 sound, but I definitely prefer it over Dsoniq's version. Maybe their EQ is better for sound mixing, i'm not an expert on that.
But for enjoying music, recessing the mids is the wrong way to go.

Realphones aren't just an equalizer) It makes the sound surround by emulating the effect of speaker acoustics and room acoustics. This improves the perception of sound.
The middle frequencies are removed in the Realphones presset in the area of 3300-3600, the resonance of our ears is located. At these frequencies, we hear the loudest.I have a headache from the increase in frequencies in this range when listening to music.

The frequency response graphs may differ due to different measuring stands, due to different volume measurements.

When I load EQTakstarPro82AllPortClossed.ffp, it does look like they only change the frequency response.
Is there something else in this preset?

This preset reduces the frequencies from 500Hz to 4.2Khz.

Dsoniq's graph shows the raw measurements. It's a really bad idea to EQ based on the raw graph, because it doesn't represent how we hear the headphones - nobody in this thread would claim that Pro 82 has mids pushed as much forward as Dsoniq's graph suggests. Pro 82 has some of the most neutral mids on the market, beating even the 3800$ Stax 009:

Only compensated graphs should be used for EQ, because they do reflect our perception of the headphones' sound.
Looks like these guys don't really know what they are doing.
