good point. thanks.

Could you recommend me some impedance adapter from Amazon or Aliexpress? I do not want Takstar pro 82 to blow out when it's put on... I guess driver would burn without exploding.
Well it won't blow up with smartphone or SMSL idea or a laptop with normal sound output.

But with studio devices or very high powering devices

https://penonaudio.com/3.5mm-impedance-adapter.html

20ohms will do if you buy

Or make one yourself with 1ohm 1W resistor per channel to not loose loudness while having a permanent fix

1. But there is no risk of Takstar 82 exploding or blowing out? Right?

2. If I buy a higher impedance, is there any problem? Only the fact of having to deliver more power to my headphones in order to sound well?

I have found this https://es.aliexpress.com/item/Vent...chweb0_0,searchweb201602_5,searchweb201603_53

30 ohms better than 80 or 150?

Thanks dhruvmeena96

With low power source.....nopes
I have mentioned above too

I plugged it in my agdr O2 with booster board which drives my HD800. It worked... But as I cranked the volume... It started crackling and the driver coil detached.

Rated power I supplied was 300mW.
And takstar maximum power limit is 50mW.

So it makes sense.

If it is smartphone....its okay.
Even with DAP on good volume..its fine

But higher power source, and mistake of turning dial can cause you a loss of issue

Well, when I did this driver burn...I didnt know about power limit is only 50mW.

This is only con of takstar

So,

1.and when the driver coil detached, had you put on your headphones? Any danger for your ears in that case?

2. is this impedance enough for safety 30 ohms? I can also buy 80 and 150 ohms.

Well, dont think that much.
.
You know
Just buy it
I think I triggered the wrong switch.

If you do studio work
Get a 20ohm from penon audio. Because they are one of the most reputed seller on aliexpress and also as a sole entity.

I gave you the link above....

And it is not the Impedance adapter ohm value which is important. The important part is that resistor have wattage rating, which help in dissipating extra energy.

Just buy one.

30ohm is also good.

Dont use adapter with phone or DAP, otherwise you will loose volume.

Only use with high powering source

That's all I have to say.

And dont worry so much
Just buy one and use responsibly

Just for curiosity.

1. Why Takstar have so low maximum power limit? m40x have 1600mW?

2. Then is it not going to explode sure?

3. Penon audio or this 30 ohms impedante adapter https://es.aliexpress.com/item/Vent...chweb0_0,searchweb201602_5,searchweb201603_53?

4. Taking into account i am going to spend 65€+8€ for impedante adapter, any other better headphone for 75-80€?

Thanks again

And to

1) ask manufacturer

2) no they won't.
I was fool who overpowered them very high(playing with volume slider). Most DAP are rated at 50mW output. Most smartphone are rated at 35mW output. Laptops are 100mW rated output(well all keep volume control on laptop, instead of blasting it out).

3) no, you won't find anything better till 200$. At 200$, the headphones are Sony CD900ST cartonode engineering edition.

First of all, instead of asking me about exploding or not. Tell me the gear or source you gonna use.

The exploding issue is with high powering amps like benchmark audio DAC3 etc

Normal everyday stuff are fine

The moment you plug it into speaker, you bypass speaker amp...
So safe

Drive it at 50% volume to 70% volume for extended period usage.

You have to think about your ears too.
Driver comes second.

I have Asus zenith, so mine is powerful with on board amp

I drive it at 50% volume and it runs pretty fine

Ok thanks, yes, ears health is first and I guess in my case if volume is not enough high for my ears, it is less likely headphones will burn or blow out...

What is curious is that headphones like these ones https://www.amazon.es/JVC-HA-EB75-Auriculares-posiciones-color/dp/B003CQE2M6/ref=sr_1_2?__mk_es_ES=ÅMÅŽÕÑ&keywords=jvc+cascos&qid=1559997085&s=gateway&sr=8-2
have higher maximum power limit than takstar pro 82...

Do you know any other good headphones under 100 euros? Ath m40x are even worse than takstar pro 82? because it was my 2nd option.

Takstar pro 82 is leagues ahead under 100$ category.
Can't go wrong with that

There was one headphone but the company stopped producing a long time back...so there is no meaning in telling it.
KAM HP1

It sits above Takstar pro82 in every way...except for the undisputed godly imaging that pro82 gives and the level of comfort.

So,

1. better takstar than m40x?

2. No problems with takstar, even if I do not use a 30 ohm impedance adapter? (laptop, my speakers, mobile)

3. 20 or 30 ohm impedance adapter?

20 ohm PENON: https://es.aliexpress.com/item/3-5m..._expid=5e26ca1b-380e-434f-af82-b2de6cac7e21-0

30ohm FENGRU https://es.aliexpress.com/item/Vent...chweb0_0,searchweb201602_5,searchweb201603_53

Thanks.
