So for those who are interested, here's my link to my initial impressions of the Dunu DN-1000. I thought some of you guys might find it interesting since it's pretty much the same configuration - drivers-wise - as the H-200. Just sharing. Feel free to take it with a grain of salt. Happy listening.

The Dunu's are sounding like they are shaping up to be pretty darned nice iems!

One comment I have relates to this:
because that sounded like to me that the Dunu would have the irritating high spike that kind of turned me off from the H-200 (although I loved its sound otherwise).

I honestly don't hear the sibilance any more (not sure if that is due to further burn in, or due to the tips that I'm using). But with that initial bit of irritant gone, I'm still very happy with the H200's. That doesn't mean that I'm not interested in all of these other wonderful new iem's though :)

Congrats d marc0!

I am still really enjoying both the H-200's and the CKS1000's, so I am hanging onto a sliver of resistance lol. We'll see how long that lasts! But I am insterested in seeing where the dust settles with the S2's, M200's, RA750's, DN-1K's, and also the Cardas, and if I can hold out long enough, the XBA-H3's... (have I forgotten any lol???)

Lol! Nah I think you've narrowed it all down. The H3 is my next big purchase... Probably for Xmas. So I'll end up with hybrids in my collection. Goodluck to our wallets!

My stock black cable is already going out after a few months

. Bending the cable at the 3.5mm plug end in the wrong way even slightly cuts out audio to the right earpiece. Could I get a replacement cable under warranty?

Same reason why I want a custom cable. Tougher than stock cable. With my old earbuds, the cable is always the first to get messed up. Unfortunately, no matter how good your IEM is, if the cable broke game over unless it's detachable

I do not have T-peos headphones, but what I do have is an issue with 3 aftermarket cables all wearing out at the RCA connection. All 3 cables have one thing in common, a straight connector. I have since gone to a right angle, so far this seems to correct the cable wearing out at the connector.

holly smokes, today i went out of freaking mind and used H200 on my trusty Cowon S9, then being mind sick i plugged RDB+v1... holly smokes, guess what??? i love both these for simple non critical playback. H200 is more close, upfront and sweet sounding with good acoustic impact too. Then V1 opened up stage and added some refinement while pulling back stage to make things less upfront... plenty of air and detail. i must say 1p2 easily beats both of them but for the money H200 amazes me like no other IEM... i feel stupid but looks like i am not selling either of them contrary to my initial plans.

H200 is no brainer and for the money remains one of the best IEM i have heard to date.
