I have some older Senn 580s and the SR5s are just superior sounding period. You do give up some low end, but its like another level of resolution and refined sound.

The SR-5s are crazy beautiful, after about 2 hours, I have to take them off, but the sound is exquisite.

They are very comfortable, but they will sweat in warm rooms. Any idea if there are some parts available? Mine are working great but would be nice to own another cord/earpads.

Yeah these are really great , I'm having some serious trouble and debate in my mind if i want to actually sell them or not. They're boxed up for that but every time I see the box I think twice. arrrgh
 
Anyhow you were asking about parts. You can still get the SR-3 and 5 pads here.
 As far as a cable probably need to find a nonworking parts unit.

The SR-007 pads also fit and a whole host of other pads (Audeze and Denon spring to mind).  No cables left but it would be easy to get the Koss ESP950 cable to fit.
