I owned the SR-009 for two years, until I got a bad channel imbalance, and STAX USA would not repair my "bought in Japan" headphones.

Stax U.S.A. won't help anyone who purchased a Stax product from Japan.
They ask for your serial # before, then look it up to see if it was purchased through them, if not, good luck.
