I am considering getting the Z1R's and was wondering if my iFi xDSD Gryphonwill be enough to drive these?

The Z1R are easy to drive, and the Gryphon has plenty of power to drive them. I mostly use the paring for movies, the XSpace and XBass is the reason I chose the Gryphon, and can give them a nice boost depending on the source.I am considering getting the Z1R's and was wondering if my iFi xDSD Gryphonwill be enough to drive these?
Z1R is on B tier, and unanimously so. at 1:30:07.
Despite the controversial release it has 7 years ago it basically has settled to be one of the better closed back on the market with its own uniqueness to exist.
There's barely any A tier closed back in all three's lists. Hard to make good closed back as usual.

For me it has beaten everything else full size I’ve heard the last 7 years and made me sell everything I had but I’ve not heard anything new that’s come out since just before the start of covid. However the IER-Z1R still get the majority of my play time and would be the one I’d keep if I could only have one
Everyone is talking about Dan Clark E3 closed back headphones. So hopefully someone will and can compare both.
Still trying to decide between the Z1R and D,9200 as they are ready to drive and E3 is not. They say.

The only headphone I'm interested in is Empyrean 2, I'd keep the Z1R as long as I can, otherwise I'm settled.
Im looking at Expanse and wondered whether that thing is just an audio compromised closed back just to make it look good & like a sibling of Stealth, and the E3 is the headphone that should've been released a year ago, seeing there's only 1 year difference from the release of expanse...

I never trust any tier lists from any these youtubers, the only youtuber I trust the most is Currawong.

I mainly use my Z1R w/ DHC Prion4 on my TA-ZH1ES and my LCD-X w/ DHC Complement C on my WM-1Z ib bed. With these two headphones and cables I can mix and match based on my mood and genre. For me it has beaten everything else full size I’ve heard the last 7 years and made me sell everything I had but I’ve not heard anything new that’s come out since just before the start of covid. It's time to sell my Cascade and HE400i.

Is that because you can't walk with the Z1R around and they are jot really portable? Or IER-Z1R sounds better to you.For me it has beaten everything else full size I’ve heard the last 7 years and made me sell everything I had but I’ve not heard anything new that’s come out since just before the start of covid. I still haven't heard them, so hopefully I will get the opportunity soon.

Fortunately I have no use for an open headphone and anyway I actually prefered the MDR-Z1R to them when I briefly tried them right after their introduction. I also prefered the Z1R to the Focal Utopia and sold the HE5 after getting the Z1Rz1r + empyrean = endgame (for me)

I wouldn’t walk with either but most of the time I simply prefer the IER sound to the MDR sound. I keep the MDR as there are times when my ears don’t like iem and sometimes I like the MDR sound the most.Is that because you can't walk with the Z1R around and they are jot really portable?
