How is Sony regarding warranty? do they require the spare tips to be included if warranty is needed?
Got a like new\used set at ok price, a colleague is not that fuzzy about slightly worn tips so he wants them.
I just sent mine in with the two tips on them. All was fine.

For my xm3s I had to replace the internal batteries 2 times for the past 5 years, wondering if anyone has done with with the xm5s
I should hope not since they’ve only been out for little over a half year

5 years of consumer law in my country. Good feeling when the the tv craps out at 4 years and 10 months,

But silly that these are consumables.

anyone got the spatial setting to work, all i get is stretch neck more or something setting it up.

What country is that with 5 year warranty ?
In EU it is 1 years outright warranty plus 1 year right to complain though manufacturers are free to offer more

Only works on pixel and Sony devices .
I've got it working on a pixel 8 pro .I had to disable ldac first though

thanks, now i can stop nodding up and down.

The nodding to accept or reject calls works with any device, because it's a feature of the buds.

Spatial audio only works with certain smartphones. On Samsung it only works with they Galaxy Buds, for example...

After seeing some terrible EQ recommendations for the Sony WF-1000XM5 online, I'd thought I'd use my account I haven't used in years here (see that join date lol)
Been 'in the game' too long and I was annoyed at those people not using an EQ to y'know, equalise.

Please use this instead

Based off:
the Soundguys Headphone preference curve vs the WF-1000XM5
Sony Clearbass setting frequency response graph
A/B comparison with KALI AUDIO LP-8 speakers, which do not deviate in frequency response based on speaker angle, height and room acoustics much vs other speakers, whilst being intended for studio monitoring.

Yes, due to how Sony Clear Bass behaves and the WF-1000XM5's deviation from the Soundguys curve, you have to compensate for it by lowering the setting, which increases the sub bass, as the mid and high bass isn't masking it anymore and it flows right through to 400Hz, conveniently the first frequency setting on the EQ.

k thx bye.

I don't use Sony equalizer. I have it on off but use great Poweramp equalizer app and my curve is very similar
