I called Sony store online and according to them it won't be released in UK. Not sure how accurate they are.

No 64gb release in the UK unfortunately.. Just 16gb that's why I am considering getting mine from Japan

I'm leaning towards this now. I only got dunu 1000s so I probably won't notice much difference between this and x1. Once I get audiophile level headphones I'll probably want to upgrade dap anyway.

So my Sony MDR-1A should be arriving Monday and I just pre-ordered the NWZ-A17 from the US Sony website! I'm very excited to get both and pair them together, especially since Sony says this pair work very well together. The only thing is, that the Sony website doesn't have an estimated ship date like it has for some other product pre-orders.

US has Silver only Canada has Black only. The A17 from Canada should be available October 20th according to the Sony Canada website. I'm hoping that although the press release says November, that the A17 will be out in the United States October 20th just like Canada and not November 8th like Japan.

I just ordered black one from Sony UK.
Its £69 more then X1 but has three times more battery life and 16GB built in storage.
I just hope I not paid more for worse SQ then X1 or same price and worse SQ then X3.
