Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but is it possible to create a playlist from song on both the internal memory and the microSD card?

yes you can, if they both integrate seamlessly in the case of my A17

Thanks. I think that they both integrate seamlessly on the player itself, I can see tracks from both internal and microSD card on the player, but when I try to create a playlist and i place the m3u file on the internal memory, only songs from the internal memory show up on the playlist on the player.

Yes there it is!! Thank You Gerelmx!

Glad you finally found it, perhaps that wallpaper is hardcoded in the program logic of the Integrated circuit of the player or you found in the bluettoh received folders?
