As my first purchase was just NW-ZX300 accessories, I then used points for DAP purchase, it works, but switches invoice to YEN, you cant manage to see your currency, at least that was my observation.
I have those 7007 still left for next purchase (after DAP purchase).

I have been astonished by the difference between balanced and standard. I only have the Ultimate Ears Triplefi and Fiio balanced wiring and a 2.5mm to 4.4mm adapter, not a super audiophile set up. But I can hear the difference. I now need to think about spending £150 on a balanced cable for my XBA Z5!

That's generally the case, my ZX2 came with plugs and a leather case.

I also have the Zx2 from Japan, but i think all version gets the case, but the plug i think it's only available on the Japanese version.

I can tell the A40 series does not have the high gain option (checked on a Japanese unit)

Neither does my A35, it has a setting for DSD at level and -3 db to prevent clipping but no high gain. I expect the zx300 to have a bit more ooomp even with the SE.

I use it, I have a wm port plug on my ZX2 from day 1, been using it for about 2 years. as for the ZX300, using the plug for the 3.5 socket if you are using a 4.4 iem or the other way around.

Damn, Sony has just added Windows audio driver that updates driver to enable DAC function. Make sure to update outdated driver that comes with Windows. I spent an hour yesterday looking for that, but my guess was right

Great news to all of you in europe it works i changed from CEW2 to E and the high gain popped up like a baby lol....... it even has a neat H symbol showing on top ...maximum volume before my ears bleed now is 90 to 92....it used to be 120 the max lol... now officially UNCAPPED!!!!

So does this effect the comparisons to you other daps now that it's uncapped?
