Upgrading a bit unfair as I currently using the Cowon P1 which is great. But I long for better battery life.

can u give a comparison betwen the p1 and zx2, and maybe u can shed a light of eqs capailties which u like more in both daps

Arrived today. Thanks Amazon and a good price at 750 pounds.
I do note that line out appears incredibly low when using with my Fostex HP V1.

it's low for me as well compared with Chord Hugo when driving Grado GS1000, Fostex TH900 and AKG K812.

Please compare when you have a chance. P1 battery life is a killer, probate biggest reason I didn't purchase it.

battery life is not of my concern as long as it can play for 5 hours i am fine, its the sound signature in general and other capabilties

Normally it's not a concern for me either, but 5 is just a but short. I could live with it if the sound is better. I'd probably enjoy it very much since I like to eq my music. I could always take a different dap if I won't have access to a charger... 5 isn't really a deal breaker now that I think about it.

Looking into the PHA3 amp right now.  Plus the MDR-Z7 phones.
Considering this as i do like the sound from the ZX2.

Urgh, Its been less than a week and my dignis cover is already starting to break apart.
Just did some research on how to maintain leather as its my first time handling a legit leather made item :<
- Singapore is extremely humid and a 3-5 minute walk under the sun will cause me to perspire :v
The usage of a humidifier at settings 30 ~ 50% would be best to maintain leather & faux leather products.

Humidity levels set too low will cause leather & faux leather to crack easily.

High Humidity or heat levels will cause fungus to grow easily and cause materials such as faux leather to have chemical reactions which may cause the following.

1.  Stickiness of material

2.  Peeling of material

3.  Discolouration, etc.

Typical Humidity levels in Singapore may hit as high as 90% RH so its always good to invest in a quality dehumidifier to maintain your quality leather pieces.

I do rate the P1 but battery life I get around 8 hours using line out. With let you know about the ZX2.

i do not care bout battery life i care more bout sound signature so i will really appreciate a comparison on sound only
