The stock case is quite nice but I do want access to the screen more often than not and for that reason alone I went with the Dignis case. The Supplied Sony case is good for overall protection, for sure.
The design of the stock case is a major turn-off for me and that's why i went on to research on what cases were available for the NW-ZX2.

Decided to go with Benks Magic OKR Tempered Glass Screen Protector for F886/ZX1 :3
I do like flip covers and all but I've never damaged or broken any of my portable devices's screens before so i've decided to go with the more classy route and went with the lovely dignis case-

unless you have a good screen protector, you won't get much protection with the dignis, even though the stock case is ugly and massive, it does give one of the best protection along with the super expensive case that Sony is selling on their site, although you can get it cheaper now with the item reduced in price.

Yes, the ZX2 seems to be a lot more powerful than the a15 that I used to own, the bass is improved, as well as the volume. It's an overall huge upgrade.
Probably due to the super cap having reserve power capacity. Not sure, but it seems like there's a lot more than 15mw.
I'm sure you will really enjoy it once it finishes its christening period,
It really grabs you and takes you to that magical musical state, I find my self drifting away with the music.
I get sent to this meditative state. Where I can let all my hassles go, and enjoy my music like never before.
