If the ZX2 doesn't have 200 or more hours on it, you aren't hearing the full potential of the dap, IMO. Mine sounded funky from 100 to 120 or 130 hours.

you should probably try the SR-64HXA designed for ZX2 to make your music sound better, I have posted the review here http://www.head-fi.org/t/761191/sony-low-noise-sd-card-for-nw-zx2

Does it mean that i will stop using internal memory as it will sound even worse than this card? just couldn't justify the price tag

For a second there, I though you actually got one with the word "Review".

I'm actually consider getting one in June if I have extra money during my visit to Japan, some got to try it out sooner or later

I was recently in Japan and the price of these audio cards is beyond ridiculous to even consider unless you just have money to burn. The 64 GB card was almost $180.00. The 128 GB card is almost $300.00. Really Sony?

So..
Why do the 3 buttons become non-responsive but the volume ones work.
Anyone know?

[I believe] those three buttons are disabled by default when screen is off or locked. I changed settings under "Device settings" > "Button protection" as soon as I received my ZX2 two weeks ago and never had problem with unresponsive buttons.

I have to second that--I'm at about 140+ hours. There was a time around 110 hours or so, when I detected an overly tizzy and almost shrill treble. That has mostly disappeared now, and the detail and soundstage is really beginning to bloom. So far, it seems to me that the burn-in on the ZX2 is crucial.

BTW--if anyone wants to check their "uptime" on the ZX2, it's just like any android device. Go to Settings -> About device -> Status -> Up time. Don't forget to subtract several hours from it if you have the device on and hooked up to the computer and not playing music. You can't burn in the caps if you don't have a headphone hooked up and the music playing.

How do you update the firmware? Thanks!

It should be automatic once you connect to a Wi-Fi hotspot and login to a Google account. All Android devices check for firmware and OS updates occasionally when they have any internet connection active. You can also do it manually by going to Settings -> About Device -> System Update.
