  Somehow I doubt that the one on the left is a 6.3mm. Look at the difference between a 6.3mm and 3.5mm jack:

The angle is deceptive, but I reckon it is a 6.3mm socket.

Which could also indicate it's going to have a bit more umph if Sony are expecting lots of full sized headphone usage

so the small one (3.5 mm) will be just like zx2 for (c)iems in se/balanced and the big one (6.3) will be for full phones ?

so then it probably has way more power than ZX2 ?

so it's gonna be way more expensive than ZX2 ?

I think (or at least hope) Sony will play it smarter than that. A&K's costs kind of make sense in as much as they are a much smaller company so their R&D costs are equivalently higher. Sony will also have far less overheads, relatively speaking.

This device will obviously be more expensive than the current model, but I don't think in the A&K range.

Fingers tightly crossed

from where do you get those pictures ?  Is there a "teaser" website from SONY ?

The Walkmanblog is a always a good source, make sure to visit this blog every once and a while: http://thewalkmanblog.blogspot.de/

But the picture that I have posted a few minutes ago comes from a Russian website: http://player.ru/showthread.php?t=159155&page=24ssian
(I have no idea how the Russians got involved

)

There is a big Japanese or Chinese website similiar to head-fi where all members speak English. Even though I tried, I failed to find the link for this website. It was always a good
source for information. Anyone got any ideas?
