well, i kinda doubt it but if you say so,

editing it might corrupt the OS, even if you take a backup, how would you replace it then if you cant access android.

these are just some thoughts before anyone try this.

I've never had need to, so I was unsure, Googling around, it appears you do need root access. That said, editing it won't corrupt the OS.

Just don't make any major changes. Everything does have a risk associated with it obviously.

Just one thread that offers a guide to doing it without root.

Well thats interesting,

There will always be a risk but there must be someone willing to take it :) i know i would have but i own the jap version so no need.

but i really wish this get solved for other users.

well, the second solution is easier, if the es file explorer has the root explorer option and can edit system files directly, that would be great.

otherwise the first solution will need some expertise, although the guy seems to have written most of the code, but i think contacting him would be better.

I'm considering adding the zx2 back, if I do, I'll definitely do it in the interest of our community.

Any PC buffs here? My new 200Gb card, copying files to it (30 Gb worth), it is plugged into a card reader built into the PC. Surely the write rate of 4.11 Mb's per second should be miles higher than that? ***, thats *****.
