I did, I'm more asking in general if people have saved money with the Japanese imports and if there were any drawbacks?
The Japanese ones can be had do to the weak yen for cheaper.

Ok guys, has anyone done a comparison between 3.5mm output and digital output? which ones has better SQ IYO? I have compared mine and think 3.5mm sounds better than digital, there is also warmth to the sound.

The whole tweaking thing was done on the headphone out, and to be fair if you're looking at the digital out, then you would be comparing headphone out to external DAC...

The headphone out is a smidgen warmer than what you'd expect, but that is made up for with general tonality and micro details, so happy to not need to lug my Hugo around with me

It won't delete the existing home screens. It is a different launcher in place of the stock Sony launcher, in which you can create your own home screens.

Has anyone tried to see if screen mirroring is possible with the ZX2? I'm curious to see if it would be possible to mirror the screen up on my car's AV system, whether it be via a direct video connection using the WMC-NWV10 cable or via a wireless mirrorlink interface, as I've done with my mobile phone running Android OS 4.3.

Any USB charger with output of 5-5.2V, 750mAh+ will work, sony does not state you have to use a PC USB only, they also have power adapter with USB output available as a optional accessories, it's just that you pay so much, they are too cheap to put one in the box:wink_face: . 

I've also asked about the home screen a few pages back, I only need one, but I don't think it can be removed.
My way is to put a music player widget on every home screen, that way it makes no differences which screen I'm on.

try Nova Launcher.

Thanks, I normally don't like to use third party launchers for android, but trying the nova and it has given me positive results, and bypass sony's limitation.

When I bought the ZX2 yesterday i was obviously expecting an improvement over the FiiO x5+e12...
 
Well, looks like I was not prepared to that.
 
The sound quality is absolutely brilliant. Really.
 
The ZX2 drives perfectly the Shure 846.
Still ok with the B&W p7, but much better with an amp.
 
ZX2 -> Aune B1 -> B&W p7 is a weapon of mass destruction !!! Just listened to Jeff Buckley - Grace album. Marvellous...
 
I also tried the LCD2, but it is irrelevant, They are not meant to be use with a portable device, they stay on my desktop.

I recommend to try to get a real line-out with a Sony WM LOD cable like FiiO L5 instead of using the heaphone out from the XZ2.
 
But this is a really really lovely stack you own here.

What are some of the competitors to the B1 in the $1-$300 price range and do you guys think an amp is worthwhile if i'm only running CIEM's(A12).  I'm looking for a completely neutral amp (if one is worth it) that doesn't change the output from the ZX2.

Yes it works fine on the ZX2. I have two of those here and use it daily on many devices.

I very curious to how people use the memory allocation on the ZX2, for me I only have 5 music video totally at 505MB, for music about 496 including aac, mp3 and flac at 18.15GB, all in the internal memory, although I do have one of those premium sound micro sdxc 64GB cards from Sony inside the unit, but totally empty.
