Get the XBA-Z5. Go balanced with pha 3 and don't look back ever.
Without balanced, Z5 needs only about 40/45% through Zx2 and turning on the gain brings you to aural heaven!
Also u don't need to go on searching and eating money on the countless apps when Sonys own does wonders!

It shouldn't be as the person looked into that source code and said so

Wait.  Do you mean playing through the headphone out and the digital out?

Some people has been asking if the app "Onkyo HF Player" can play high-rest without down sampling by headphones, and asked for proof. Yes, Onkyo app does not down sample it...however by data transport, it will...that is caused by our 4.2 operating system of android limitations

I highly recommend Jetaudio on iPhone and iPad: Much better sound and fullscreen album art.

I found Jetaudio to be a mess on my ZX2.  It only imported 700 of my 2,000 tracks.  The sound is much better with the stock player.

I deleted Jetaudio from my ZX2.

Ok that's what I thought.  Analog out good, digital out no good for hi res with Onkyo HF.

Was this the JetAudio + (the plus one)? There is a plug in, AM3D, that works well not making any changes with the eq on the JetAudio portion, but making adjustments with AM3D. I tried it out, and thought it sounded good, and may return there one day, but I too am happy with the 'stock' app. I use the stock one with 'sound adjustments' disabled. (Thank you Whitiger).
