Are you sure? My other BT headset (SBH50) is depending on my Android device. In my mind, the ABT is working like the SBH50.?

The output power is for wired connections (heaphone socket) Bluettoth is radio waves at 2.4GHz i think so the DAP, zx100 converst the audio infor to radio waves and the phone receives those waves and decodes them back to audio and does the DAC and everything

Think of the ZX100 as an FM-transmitter and the BT Mdr-1ABT as the car stereo antenna and circuitry, or zx100 as a RC remote and the phones as the RC car/plane/boat etc

... but the ABT isn't an AMP or hasn't an integrated AMP like a DAC with integrated head phones AMP, it is only a transmitter with headphones....

i saw they have an USB input for like an AMP-DAC function.... anyways, if they receive bluettoth audio waves encoded in certain form after decoding these info how do they play music out of nothing with no DA conversion and amlification?

they have all these ciruitry besided the blue tooh chip

Sorry, the 1ABT does not have a DAC.  The 1ADAC has an integrated DAC (incl. S-Master HX amp)
The SBH50 is working with my normal headphones... the SBH50 has an integrated battery with 150mAh it is enough for 8 hours of talking / streaming. There is no amp inside...^^

the 1adac can take digital out signal like a normal dac, thats why it's called "dac".

bluetooth headphones all have dacs that take and only take the output of the bluetooth receiver and send the analogue to the amp. they are integrated and specially designed for that headphone, also limited by power, so usually not much mention about that. but they are there, no matter how small the circuitry is. dac and amp refers to the functions of it, which may not be a standalone part or product.

I just bought this screen protector.
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/221911165763

Not a bad screen protector it has a nice anti-fingerprint but a bit shorter than the zx100 screen which result not cover to the bottom of the screen(just barely touch the top of Home/PWR OFF letters)

Has anyone bought the official screen protector from sony, if so how is it?
