I just bought the ZX100 from the amazon UK at £330 i just couldn't resist it ..lol..Gerelmx1986 tell me what i am going to like about this player !!! compared to my A17 ...I just remembered this version has the new sony noise cancelling IEM which makes it an even better bargain you can always sell it separately..    If you are in the UK jump on this price it will be going up very soon..

Mine is the international versin so uncapped and its powerful, sounds natural to me, wide soundstage, no distortion in  the high end range, battery life is asthonishing

From the reviews most conclude that it is an evolution of  ZX1,same bright signature slightly more revealing,more detailed bass but less in guantity and of course much better battery.


Well Sony engineering team did say that zx100 is a successor from zx1, and is inspired by zx2, but zx2 remains the flagship. So that pretty much said what you just said :wink:

This is what I am worried about the volume cap..I will see how it is if it's too dull sounding it's going right back...but I have high hopes

i dont collect much music, i only keep the one i listened more so far less than 40gb in total
