Normally I use EAC (Exact audio copy) for CD-ripping (including MP3 / FLAC conversion). In this case the affected albums are "foreign-ripped" files (I will check if theses files are related by foreign hosters like Amazon or other commercial hosting platforms or if these files are from several other guys (nearly all albums are ripped from the original audio-CD).
 
resp. the "HW-reset". Is it possible that the reset is a normal "power off / power on" (reboot) cycle? After pressing the reset button all settings are existing after the normal reboot.

es gibts ins Einstelluhen (options) ein menu item mit Reset All settings und auch es gibts Format SD card und Format Internal Storage

I need a kind of "factory reset" while testing my "file-issue". I thought the reset button does RESET anything.

easy just from earphone jack to amp. The Arrow gets 25 hrs and this dap has great battery life so only charge once every 9 or so days.

i am quite hesitant to pass tbe sinal through two amps, so i am still using it without amp stack

You can think about it but this set up allowed me to get rid of my AK 120II, DX100, DX90.

but you can try to use a LOD, fiio LOD is very cheap. i have one and use with my old sony daps but i havent tried with zx100
i think it will just degrade the SQ of the zx100 since my amps are just cheap fiio E5 and E11

but the lod on walkman is said to drain the battery unaturally

I had a fiio L5 LOD but i stepped on it and got instantly destroyed (te walkman is safe)

I noted on my A17 the LO to be cleaner than the HP Out
