@CarinTorment

Been listening to my MDR-1AM2 with Japanese language. I think adding DC Phase Linearizer Type A High DSP is my preferred sound for it. It add slightly more mid bass definition and impact to the sound but without sounding too boomy or bloaty(type B). I am listening at 85 low gain. DSEE Ultimate + Sharp roll off.

What genres of music do you like and do you listen to more on your Walkman? Since the update I think my M7 sounds better, I feel like it's more fun, I haven't turned on the Japanese language, I'm afraid I won't be able to return to my native language haha.

Does adding more languages to the DAP not saturate the system?

My genres are very varied, from classical to rock to euro dance to jpop to mandopop to jazz. All music genres are pretty much good by me.

You have to give Japanese a try, the sound signature is more in line with audiophile listening taste in my opinion, English while is fun sounding, has the tendency to add treble glare and reveal flaws in recordings.

If you are worried about navigating Japanese android setting, maybe take a photo/screenshot of the Walkman settings when in English language.

Just keep a few to try out for the time being. Don’t add too much as it will add to system memory usage. I only kept a few: Jap, Eng, Simp CN and Turk. Adding and removing languages is a fast and simple process that doesn’t require restart so in that sense it doesn’t hurt.

How do I identify the Japanese language? If it is the one I put in the photo?

Yes that’s the one.

I see that you have been on Espanol, that language has a warmer sound signature to me.

Wow, you don't know what some people are saying about the sound, if it changes, the sound becomes deeper, the treble in my case feels more perceptible, it's like it reaches further into the cymbals.

Can you leave both languages or does it have to be just one?

I think it is ok to leave both languages in the settings. You might have to switch back to Spanish to change more advanced Walkman settings.

Just a question, do you think the warm sound tuning of Spanish language works in favour with the typical popular native Spanish music listened in your country?

I think the quality with respect to the Spanish language is good in what is heard in my country, which is regional music of string instruments, even though they are genres that I don't listen to, I only listen to pure rock and metal, I think my favorite signature It is the V but a short V, that is not so sharp in the acute.

I guess Japanese would be better for your genre of music, as it has more sub-bass emphasis.
I change language depending on mood, sometimes when I want a more darker sound, I use Turkish over the more U shaped Japanese.
