Plus, my Hiby R5 Gen2 already arrived from Hiby in China to UK in 2 days and now at UK sorting centre already!

Soon as I ordered the 1ZM2 it showed out of stock! Maybe they only got the 1 for the UK :smile:

They don’t. I purchased Sony lenses from Japan via EBay and no duties were assessed. I also got 1ZM2 forwarded to me via Buyee - no import duties paid either.

Unfortunately I won't have any because they have just cancelled it without any explanations, so assume they don't have any stock.

Absolute farce. Seem to have no idea what they are doing.

Did you see the Australian guy saying their stock delayed until July & August! When its was meant to be deliveries end of April too.

In contrast, Hiby launched their R5Gen2 last Friday, I ordered straight after launch, already arrived in UK from China yesterday and now showing as Shipment en-route from UK distribution centre. May even get it tomorrow at this rate and it was stated as a 10-30 day delivery.

Site now at least acknowledges it is out of stock:

I don't like to be negative but to launch a product with such a high price and instantly be 2 or 3 versions of android behind the current one is not good. One acknowledges there is at least a years development before an item comes to market, but the O/S Version is almost mutually exclusive at this point. If my 5 year old OLED Tv can and does still get Android updates I don't see why Sony can't update their Walkmans.
