That’s insane, even the A105 U.K. version is rated at 35mw @ 16 ohm.

I really fancy a 507 or maybe at a push the 1AM2 but not a chance I’m buying a U.K. / EU model.

If the a105 in UK is capped he don't have 35mw, that's the uncapped version, even the zx2 that uncapped was 15mw per channel in EU was way less

Ask apple about it. When tou hqve more than one language the software is not able to decide if i want to type in English, deutsch or espanol and i typ faster than it and goes crap, add to that i am legally blind

Thanks, is that at all useable? Let’s say with Sonys own MDR-Z1R?

Surely it must be more than 1.1mw. When I first got it together with MDR-Z1R and didn’t know about the rockbox program it still worked fine

I’ve still got the option of buying the UK version and paying more (and waiting longer). Do we know yet whether there’s still the EU volume cap issue with these seeing as how UK isn’t in EU anymore? I guess I can return it if not happy.

Sorry for becoming off-topic while obviously Japan did'nt make a difference between EU and the UK in that special case we can't use the yahoo japan search enginge anymore or browse through the Yahoo auctions.

I'm kinda confused: The German sony-website, listing the 1AM2, also shows the 60mW and 250mW output WITH high gain. Is it a standard practice to outright stay quiet about capping power output?

Is there even any hope for a full powered 1AM2 being sold in europe?

Yeah I’m sure you will like 1ZM2 considering how much you enjoy the DMP-Z1. To me it’s very much like a portable DMP.
