I'm on a Hackintosh (like a Mac, but better because cheaper :) )so i can't use Music Center (i don't use Windows on my Mac, nor do i have a Windows PC available...).
I guess i'll just have to drop my music directly on my SD card, not an issue.
Thanks for the tip though ,)

edit: For my case i downloaded "Content Transfer", now i need my Sony NW-a55 to see if that works.
Ahh I see. Drag & drop does work too

That mostly wouldn't happen since my micro sd is only 256gb
I installed music center and it crashed with my huge library 57;100 files or 1.22TB (16/24-bit 44.1 ~ 352.8kHz & DSD 2.8224 ~ 11.2896MHz) i have no lossy, but planning on making a 2nd library of all lossy for the sonos speakers

Holy Moly! That is indeed a HUGE library!!!:open_mouth:

Media Go is better than Music Center, yes. But for me Media Go had some problems with my a55, so I went with Music Center and Version 2.20 is quite good. But I got only 14.000 songs (around 100 GB - nearly 100 % MP3 256 - 320)...

I use media go to sometimes. To correct the tags (cover arts etc) since it's more convenient than the music centre (can't select few album at once, need to go one by one) but for senseme analysis, I depend on the music centre

I've read this double CD set of Etcetera's take on W.F. Bach organ works to be almost impossible to find these days.
Yhey sound damn Audiophile grade as if they were 24/96 or DSD

DAP has arrived, first of all it's really a beautiful device.
You recognise right away Sony's quality materials.
It's a NW-A55BM and i can't find what the letters BM are for? Is it a region? Is it capped?
Ahh, the color code for the DAP

Maybe because you choose blue?

No, it's grey.
Made in Malaysia.
There's no way to know its region without going into the DOS simulator thing?
I'm transferring right now on the sd card (512GB formatted in a wink) so i'm looking for any info concerning the region that i could deduce from the packaging.
Mine is made in Malaysia too. I guess all the same even it was loaded with Japan Region because last time I purchase my old walkman from Japan it also made in Malaysia.

I guess mine also have the BM since mine is gray too. Need to check the box again

Update: yes, mine also have the BM at the back

Oh please don't bother looking for your box, it's not that urgent i'll have a look into the DAP once i'll have all my 340GB and something files on the SD card
Thank for your help

Edit: Double thank then i guess for checking the box
I think i'll be able to check the region only a little later because files transfer is saying more than 2 hours of transferring...
God i'm stupid! There's a big E in the left corner of the label at the exact opposite of the NW-A55/BM
am i blessed or my mind is playing Elliott Alderson's tricks on me?
