I just received my RE-400 in the mail expecting them to be noticeably better than my 8320,but I prefer the 8320 vocals & spacious sound. I feel like I wasted $99.

not just RE400. even the $500 EX1000 can't reach that kind of spacious sound. honestly

8320 with meelec triple tips half way insert to ear canal. listen to jazz. those intruments are right next to u.

I didn't see what all the hoopla was about on the Monoprice until I got some large Comply tips and finally achieved a good seal - Amazing. I just got a set of M6 and haven't opened them yet - but I think they come with triple flange tips. I have never used triples as I have trouble getting anything to go deep in my ears - I think I have a "Dead Man's Curve" in my ear.

I put the large dual flange tips that came in the box with my RE-400 on my 8320 and they fit me perfect now

I have changed my mind about the re-400s. With spotify music app on highest quality settings, they sound pretty damn amazing

I think the peak on 5k what make monoprice have that peculiar soundstage.
