I currently have several pairs of cans but only one for portable use.
I had the HD25-1 and replaced it after comparison with the D1100, the HD25 was just too tiring!
Anyway i have seen the ZX700 and it looks interesting, i understand that it doesnt have the soundstage of the D1100 (which is amazing for a closed can) but is the sound quality better?
There isnt much on headfi about the Sony, anyone tried them?

almost the same soundstage ...read joker's 96 portable shootout... both have the same ratings..the denons take it over with comfort and build ....
