cool! what cable do u use with z1r?Very nice, mine is essentially the same in a different case, though for travel I mostly bring the 7hz Timeless OG in place of the Z1R unless I go for a longer periode

have anyone tried golden plated copper cable alone or golden plated copper cable + copper cable
Latest improvement for my Z1R portable setup is the RU7, impressive little thing. Probably stick with this combo for a while until I can afford the Sony DAP.

Yes it's the all silver Dunu Blanche and I've had it for 2-3 years, before that I used the stock cable for at least 3 years. I do like silver cables, also have one for the MDR-Z1R. The stock cable is really good but I do believe the Blache has a small edge on sq, is a bit better on ergonomics and the swappable tips are really usefull. I have a second Blanche that I use on the 7hz Timeless OGu like it? (or it's not urs set?)

Received this week the new Symbio W ear tips.
Currently my preferred ear tips for Z1R!
Excellent comfort, excellent noise isolation and SQ is top notch for my taste.

I will second this, the Dune Blanche is a wonderful cable in terms of SQ and ergonomics. I wish I had been able to test it with the Z1R though... perhaps it would have helped that midrange that I felt was scooped.Yes it's the all silver Dunu Blanche and I've had it for 2-3 years, before that I used the stock cable for at least 3 years. Got the Azla short/soft Elastec tips yesterday. I have to say I like these the best with the Z1R - deep insertion and they stay on the IEM just fine. and they are soft and comfy.
You make me want to buy another set of Z1Rs just to do tip-rolling and try out different cablesGot the Azla short/soft Elastec tips yesterday. I have to say I like these the best with the Z1R - deep insertion and they stay on the IEM just fine. and they are soft and comfy.
Those Elastecs work wonders with nearly all my IEMs.

Im currently in japan and was dead set on getting the wm1am2, but after hearing the ibasso dc elite i preordered it. Not sure if its better but to my ears, its a great combo with the z1r and more travel friendly.

I haven't tried the Xelastec but the Azla Crystal are easily the worst tips I've ever tried with the Z1R.
The bounce back effect makes deep insertion impossible.
I'm using the EP-NI1000 now because they're comfy and airier than the stock tips (you can ignore <15kHz in the graph it's mostly just insertion depth artifact).

if the current topic on Z1R thread is about eartips again, I will repeat again "Pentaconn Coreir"
