I'm pretty much running my Z1R fully stock now lol

I went through so many cables and tips, and I keep coming back to stock.
Yes the stock cable is really good, I’m mostly using the Dunu Blanche for the convenience of the replaceable tips

Yes I have to use the Final Audio E LL to get a good fit
Have you tried any of the AZLA tips? They run a size bigger than Final and Sony tips

Final E is a bit more bulbous in shape and the inner tube tapers steeper than the original - a tiny bit less comfy, a fair bit more mid bass resulting in a shallower overall bass, and very noticeably compromised highs (for some insertion depths that varies amongst people, the mid-highs may be emphasised against the rolled off highs too).

I very much prefer the stock silicon. Funny how I for once in god-knows-how-many years am so satisfied with the stock configuration that I really can't find a reason to switch to aftermarket tips or cables.
I'll definitely try the stock again - however currently they're on my N3s!

Agree on a few points - one of the best 'stock' packages with a TOTL IEMs. The way it should be really.

Yes I’ve got the Xelastec and they are indeed huge and I’ve tried several sizes but they all deform when used with the Z1R but work fine with the XM3

Yes, stock IER-Z1R Silicone is super with the N3; bringing the midrange up from the included Sony Hybrids. Same as when I first started using the Sony IER-Z1R, I put my “go-to-at-the-time” Sony Hybrids, then subsequently moved to included IER-Z1R tips and stayed.

Changed my mind entirely using them on the N3s - comfort wise is fantastic and sounds much better than the hybrids. I have spinfit 145s incoming as I hear they also help with opening up the N3s.

I'll have to search the thread as to where we can get replacements for the Z1R silicone - I'm the same size for the Z1R and N3 unfortunately.

How about the normal SednaEarfit and SednaEarfit lights?

The Xelastecs were amazing, but yeah, they deform way too easily. I'm looking forward to their new SednaEarfit Crystal though. They will finally get released for normal IEMs and not just for TWS.

Agreed! I believe good fit tips can affect more than the customized cables in sound. However, IER-Z1R is not that comfortable for wearing. It costs a lot, I should deserve a better wearing experience. so I finally decide to return it... Enjoying wireless Airpods max now...

The fit and wearing experience will be totally individual, I can use them for 8 hours straight with absolutely no problems or discomfort
