Cool thanks, I'l have a look for those TC50 tips among a few others folks have mentioned.
As far as power goes, ya know I'm really quite happy with the 3.5SE out from my A&K SR25. This is what I used to audition IER-Z1R a week ago, and I was just blown away how great it sounded vs several other usual suspects from CFA, 64, Empire in the same price range. But with the crazy A$700 discount Sony had going, I just couldn't resist.
Heck, a few times this week I've just grabbed my iPhone and the cheap FiiO i1 lightning dongle to go for a quick walk to test out various tips, and.... these things still sound damn good. Impressive!
I'll have a more critical listen with the Bf2/Asgard3 over this weekend just to see what else I can get out of the IER-Z1R, but I reckon I'm pretty well set with the relatively modest mobile sources I've got.

Warm water with a drop of dish washing liquid, had mine since 2017 (triple comfort tips) afaik, they are not regular foam, they are made from aerated silicone and retains their form better.

I'm using this one. Sounds great, looks great... Bit stiff but having recently added the Final E eartips it made a bit better. Not sure if I will replace it with something else though. It's the Alo Audio SXC-8 .
Hi all, is it just me or the grey mmcx connector go in a bit further than the red side? Does anyone's unit look the same with the stock cable?
Both sides are as tight as each other and it does not affect the sound, but my OCD is getting the better of me

Not sure on that, probably just pull straight up as much as possible.
