Evanescence "My Heart is Broken". Great test of bass response and BTW it rocks! On LCD3/Mjolnir/Gungnir just stunning. Amy Lee's vocals are nicely placed and impactful while the guitars and bass is solidly hammering away. Very nicely done.

For my K702's I would have to give a golden award to Pink Floyd on almost all of their content. The Wall is especially good. One band I haven't seen mentioned that really sounds great on my K702's is the Eagles. After The Thrill Is Gone is an excellent song for testing out speakers or headphones.

Another one of my favorite's is Nothing As It Seems on Pearl Jam's Binaural album.

I just discovered this new album called "slow summits" by The Pastels, and it sounds seriously good! Not only that, but there is so much variety in each of the songs that it's great for testing headphones.

Beethoven's Symphony No 1 and Symphony No 5, conducted by Ricardo Chailly and performed by Leipzig Gewandhaus orchestra.

The interesting thing is that they are performed at Beethoven's original metronome markings (tempo).

You can read/listen more about the metronome markings here > http://www.radiolab.org/blogs/radiolab-blog/2013/feb/19/speedy-beet/

I've been absolutely entranced by vanilla mood recently. Amazing quartet. Especially their tales of weaver exceed.
Also rodrigo y gabriela is great. Been listening to their first album: re-foc

Any of Robert Rich's more recent albums. He's an audiophile, ambient-electronica mastermind.
