Nice! have you heard ZOX? Another great band in the area. That's a great album, but sonically, it doesn't strike me as amazing - what do you see in it?
"Moar Ghosts 'n' Stuff" by Deadmau5 (ALAC). Not the music I typically listen to but the door slam in the left channel at 00:35 is positioned exactly where my door is. It gives me goosebumps.
If you have a door on your left about 3 meters from you then you HAVE to listen to this.
Kruder & Dorfmeister--The K&D Sessions
Cassandra Wilson, Jacintha, Patricia Barber
Liquid Liquid--Cavern
American Analog Set-Know By Heart
dZhan & Kamien--Gran Riserva
The Flaming Lips--The Soft Bulletin
The Postal Service--Give Up
Animal Collective--Feels
TV on the Radio--Dear Science
Hmmm. Interesting thread. I've sort of made it into albums: If one song on an album is well produced, usually the rest is too.
Tom Waits: Mule Variations
Jacqueline du Pre's Dvorak Cello Concerto
All the Dead can Dance remasters
Dire Straits: Brothers in Arms
Eric Clapton: Unplugged
Hot Tuna: The Phosphorescent Rat
Porcupine Tree: In Absentia
