Apparently deals.woot.com wants to torture me with Adidas HD25-1 II headphones and others.

http://www.wwstereo.com/deals/woot.aspx

and use the deals.woot code for 50% off and free shipping. That come out to $180 for sennheiser HD25-1 II headphones... Now I have 24 hours to figure out if I go into further debt or not.

Didn't electronic expo had a 30% coupon?

https://www.electronics-expo.com/index.php?page=item&id=SENHD25&extra=a%3A2%3A{i%3A0%3Bs%3A40%3A%2203823345592a403b2f4a37a59384e7ab28f02be1%22%3Bi%3A1%3BN%3B}

and write "SUMMER30" once you add it to your cart.
If that's true, wouldn't you get these at $175??

Are the 280's a good price with this deal? At $69.95, with free ship?

I think so.
If that's what you're looking for, that's probably the best price you'll get... :p

Well maybe not what I am looking for, but my wife needs a better set then a pair of AKG K44's. She is a videoragrapher by trade, and doesn't need...need something that is awesome, just something better then the K44's, which these from my memory would easily best and then some. Yes or no? Or is there something better for $70, like the Shure SRH440?

What does your wife listens to?
I have had both the 280s and the 440s (still have the Shure cans) and I wholeheartedly prefer
the Shure's. To me they sound more defined and with much better mids than the 280s.
Bass is not their strong suit but it can actually handle a couple of drum'nbass/house type songs
with ease.

But I'm partial to my mids! :wink:
It will depend on her preferences.
