Right now i own the crossfades and i got them for very cheap...65.99. I like the sound but the comfort and portability are really turning me off. I have to ride bart 3 times a week and id like for a more portable headphone. I cud sell the crossfades for about 155ish on amazon and uprgrade to the solo hds which would be like paying 100 for the solo hds. Sooo...any suggestions? And if ur just gonna bash the headphones, just dont comment. i kno this may not be the right place to be asking this but i dont want to post on yahoo answers and have some 13 year old tell me to get some skullcandy skullcrushers. please just be honest.

If you're looking for portability and noise isolation then I have some suggestions for ya:

Audio-Technica ATH-M50

Beyerdynamic DT 660

Denon AH-D1100

Sennheiser HD280PRO

Shure SRH840

Ultrasone HFi-580

I agree totally with everything he said, but I have not heard any Denons or Ultrasones. But all others make both Solo HDs and V-Moda Crossfades look pretty sad. I have heard great things about Denons and Ultrasones though... I shall listen to them one day!
