No problem my friend! I think you may really enjoy the RSV. I bunch of my IEM bros have bought them and so far everyone is pretty over the moon.

The more I listen to RSV, the more I like them.

Hi Brothers,
For the last three weeks I have been very busy with work and getting acquainted with some new audio products, including the new PHONON SMB-01L. But since I needed to keep my ears in a neutral setting to listen to different speaker samples on the way to and from work, I listened exclusively to RSV for 3 hours on the road. And I can say that I loved these iem even more. Seriously, this is a really great setting, with a comfortable, natural-looking and very euphonious sound. Posh IEM. If I was asked what needs to be changed in them, I would answer - nothing, everything is fine here. The only thing I want now is CIEM RSV)))
Does a CIEM version actually exist? I didn't think so but if I look at the official Softears store on Aliexpress then I see 2 prices: $729 and $999:

That's a fantastic update! I'm only at page 42 of reading this whole thread (getting there in an hour or 2) so maybe somebody mentioned it after that as well, but this is great to read as I expect some problems with my medium-sized ears when using the RSV. While they won't be able to make it any smaller, if they can guarantee a great fit through customization that'd be fantastic. Although European I would take the $999 offer over the €999 one though

I joined the SoftEars army a month or so ago and have some very quick impressions.

Turii is amazing and has a spot next to MEST mkii as my metal 1-2 punch solution. Great on both my current players.
It's the new bae.
Tonality is like cobalt iron. Cold, hard, fast, but also sort of warm. A bit of analogue roughness around the edges makes the distortion sing, but I was also quite surprised by how detailed they are. The small size brings some air into the sound, which is a nice contrast to any thick mids mainstay you may be liking with your metal.

They are somewhat heavy, like die cast lug nuts, which only adds to their allure, if I am being honest. Med-large staging. Not holographic, but quite a bit larger than RSV. And I get surprised often how far out they do go when called on.

Really great on 1st & 2nd wave black metal, 80-90's thrash/death, anything that can be rendered with some darkness. Maybe not so great for any new metal with deep synth bass/ electronic elements or that business. It does not go very audibly deep, and anyone that needs sub rumble should look elsewhere.
Turii is more a striking cobra than python.
Steve Harris' bass clinks and thwacks never sounded better. (went on a Maiden bender recently)

Don't really like it with every artist and genre, but metal - generally, I can attest to.

I have the RSV, but honestly, not impressed. Likely going to the sale rack. It doesn't do anything for me that doesn't already get done better with my other IEM's. I just can't get motivated to listen to it, and that's a bad sign.
I need more detail if I am going to be listening to a sort of reference attempt. Tuning is good, yes, held back by some rough technicalities that are forever distracting to me.

Bass has decent weight and is voluminous enough, but still is not actual bass. Just bass tone. Not really RSV's fault though. Have not heard any BA bass that fakes it properly. And until I do, that is what BA bass is "fake bass". A cover song.
I think I'll try S8 instead? Might have some additional retrieval chops.

Absolutely did not expect Turii to take up a permanent place. I was expecting the RSV.

Both mine and my buds RSV has bass that hits hard like a hammer. You may be used to more, and thats totally fine. It sounds like you don't really enjoy a reference styled set.

I like reference styled sets, just not this attempt.
If it's being used for reference, I am just used to it also being highly detailed. If not, I don't understand creating a stick figure drawing of what that tuning is.
We should focus on how good the Turii is though. :beerchug:

My wallet begs you not to!!! I'm already uncomfortable with the price of the RSV and keep scratching my head whether or not, etcetera. But then, last night, I thought "Hmm... Turii huh?"

Maybe I can help you out by telling you it's not really an IEM to be your sole monitor and is, for me, more of a specialist? Does that recoil your cash grab?
