As mentioned earlier, it was really liquid and transparent with the HD800. Sorry I can't go into more detail, as I didn't spend much time with it. But I'd say it's definitely worth the money.

The W5000 were simply outstanding with female vocals. A shootout between the W5000, W3000 and AD1000PRM proved that the W5000 were still king. I'm still kicking myself for not bringing my AD2000 for a 4-way shootout.

I didn't have much time on them. Probably half an hour or so. But initial impressions are that they are very, VERY smooth. Bass and treble extensions amazing. The tuning has also been pushed to a more neutral sound which is a very much welcomed change. Overall, I can only say I am superrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr impressed with it. The smoothness is really shocking.
