Yah it'll come down, but do you really want to be late to the party??

Or do you want to finally be an early adopter, able to make sweeping SQ reviews where fellow Head-Fiers hang on your every word?

Personally I'm probably going to buy these as soon as they come out and likely sell the 840s. I like the 840s a lot (though I'm thinking crazy thoughts about buying the LCD-2) but these ones go to 11 -- velour, wanky silver plastic, "bumps," hidden wires, oh my!

Fixed.

But yea, I'm looking forward to the sound in comparison to my 440's less fun, probably, overall sound improvement, definitely.

i personally think the srh750dj will be better still. i dont mind teh coiled cord because it is replaceable and it seems really thick and reliable.

I've never enjoyed coiled cables whilst I am DJing ( used to ) and I prefer a long  straight cord over coiled. Also, there is absolutely no excuse for that giant headband classic of all Shure full size headphones to have remained on the new DJ model.  It looks like the same size as the 940!   No DJ will actually wear that and bob their head up and down for a few hours.  But again I am sure it will sound excellent.  All the shures do.

however, at the $99 price point I expect the 750dj to still sound nicer since it is still more expensive.  It looks like it is the Shure budget dj model

oh my god.
YES.
I WANT THESE.
never felt my SRH840 uncomfortable. in fact Senns hd600 and Beyers DT770-DT990 (which are usually considered good in terms of comfort) hurt and burn my head a lot.
in case of SRH840 i simply don't feel them.
the only thing i wanted my 840 to improve was their treble.
and..YES, they improved it (i hope)
i definetely want these. asap.
